Zbigniew Mikulski, Ph.D. studied biotechnology at Nicolas Copernicus University, Torun, Poland, and obtained his Ph.D. in human biology/immunology at Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at La Jolla Institute for Immunology, USA, where he now serves as a Director of Microscopy and Histology Core Facility. He promotes honesty and openness as the best long-term research strategy. His greatest satisfaction is when his trainees return with improved protocols, better images, wiser analyses, and bolder ideas.
