ESVP/ECVP/ESVCP/ECVCP Joint Meeting
The next ECVP/ESVP/ECVCP/ESVCP Joint Meeting will be held from 31st August to 2nd September 2023 at the Lisbon Convention Center, in the beautiful, historical quarter of Belem, Lisbon, Portugal.

It will be the first time that these two societies and Colleges organize a joint meeting in Portugal, and we are preparing a thrilling, diverse and state-of-the-art program that will be of interest of all.
It will be a full week dedicated to veterinary clinical and anatomical pathology with two further satellite meetings in the beginning of the week from the Davis-Thompson Foundation Symposium and the International Society of Veterinary Dermatopathology.

There will be plenary lectures, oral presentations of original scientific work, interactive case presentations, Mistery slide sessions, workshops, poster sessions and of course plenty of opportunity for interactions both formally and informally with colleagues and friends.

ESVP
The European Society of Veterinary Pathology was established in 1951 as the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Veterinärpathologen; it changed its name in 1968 to the Europäische Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Veterinärpathologen and again in 1974 to become the Europäische Gesellschaft fuer Veterinärpathologie; since 1994 it has been called the European Society of Veterinary Pathology.

The objectives of the European Society of Veterinary Pathology are to promote the scientific work of veterinary surgeons and physicians active in the areas of functional and morphologic pathology of animals, as well as that of other interested natural scientists, by means of organising scientific post-graduate training, conferences and meetings.
Its objects also include acting as a link between national societies and associations for veterinary pathology in Europe and to ensure the maintenance of common interests in veterinary pathology throughout the European sphere.

ECVP
The European College of Veterinary Pathologists was established in 1995 to advance veterinary pathology and promote high standards within the specialty in Europe. The European College of Veterinary Pathologists represents an organised effort to establish criteria for training and experience to qualify as a specialist in veterinary pathology. The organisation encourages veterinarians entering veterinary pathology to acquire training and competence based on approved standards.

ESVCP  
The objectives of the European Society of Veterinary Cinical Pathology are to disseminate the basic principles of veterinary clinical pathology by means of scientific meetings (seminars, workshops, continuing education); to spread new scientific information by participation at congresses with hematologic, biochemical, or cytopathologic subjects; to encourage cooperation between members and to establish close contacts with other societies or organizations which may share mutual interests.
