Case 1: Diagnostic challenge: Pink flares in the CNS! 1.5 year old, male castrated, Golden Retriever dog
- Contributor and Presenter: Molly Church. University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine, USA.
- Chief clinical complaints: Presented to Neurology for a 4-months history of pelvic limb weakness/paresis. On presentation he had absent proprioception in both hindlimbs (worse on right), absent spinal reflexes in both hindlimbs. The next month he progressively became non-ambulatory with a very spastic gait in his hindlimbs. Given the clinical progression and uncertain diagnosis, the dog was euthanized.

Case 2:
Is it a tumor? Is it inflammation? The curious case of Tina the donkey - A diagnostic dilemma. 15-year-old female donkey.
- Contributor and Presenter: Nermin Caliskan. Laboratory of Animal Health (DGZ), Belgium
- Chief clinical complaints: Over a four-month period, the donkey exhibited a forward head tilt, circling, reduced pain perception, delayed pupillary light reflex and a subtle abnormal stance of the front and hind legs. The left side was mostly affected.

Case 3:
6.5y, female neutered Hungarian Visla dog
- Contributor and Presenter: Angie Rupp. University of Glasgow, UK.
- Chief clinical complaints: Presented in 2021 for cluster seizures (and left-sided proprioceptive deficits). Diagnosed with suspected idiopathic epilepsy although underlying cortical dysplasia could not be excluded. Until 2024, tonic-clonic generalised seizures every 2-3 weeks, which increased to daily and changed in presentation in April 2024, ultimately resulting in dog being euthanised.
