I'm a Laboratory Director for Veterinary Pathology Group (VPG) Ireland. I have 16 years’ experience working in diagnostic laboratories. I hold a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Biomedical Science specialising in haematology. I'm currently in the final stages of a research PhD with Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. I have a keen interest in quality assurance with a series of publications for novel approaches to quality assurance for a network of veterinary laboratories. I guest lecturer on the topics of quality assurance and quality control for haematology analysers and I have extensive experience training veterinary technicians, nurses and professionals in laboratory techniques.
