Esther Sutter, Dr. med. vet. DECVP, has graduated from Veterinary school at the University of Zürich in 2004, where she also wrote her doctoral thesis. She has completed her residency training at the University of Berne and successfully passed her ECVP board exams in 2010. After working for two years in academia and diagnostic services she has joined Novartis in 2013. In her position in preclinical safety, she is supporting as toxicologic pathologist and preclinical safety expert numerous projects in different disease areas. Her special focus and interest are since several years the muscle and skeletal disease area including the development and safety assessment of long-acting injectables for administration into the knee-joint and the rotator cuff.
