He qualified at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Turin, Italy, in 2008. From 2011 to 2014, he attended a residency program in Veterinary Dermatology in Italy under the supervision of Chiara Noli and Silvia Colombo, and he obtained the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD) in 2015. From 2016 to 2017, he worked at the University of Liverpool, England, where he held the position of Lecturer in Veterinary Dermatology. From 2017 to 2020 he worked as private consultant dermatologist in Switzerland. From 2020 to 2023 he was Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at the University of California, Davis. He currently works as private consultant dermatologist in Italy and Switzerland. He is Past President of the International Society of Veterinary Dermatopathology. He is author of scientific papers and speaker at national and international congresses.
