Stephanie Melching-Kollmuss is a regulatory toxicologist, working at BASF SE in the field of agrochemicals. She is a Scientific Expert in endocrine disruption assessments, thyroid and carcinogenicity; mainly on exploring mechanisms of carcinogenicity and human relevance assessments, mainly in context of new development compounds. She is involved in several expert groups, like e.g. the ECHA ED Expert Group, several CropLife Europe and ECETOC Expert Groups for endocrine and thyroid hormone disruption. Under the remit of the European Partnership for Alternative Approaches to Animal Testing (EPAA), Stephanie is a member in the EPAA project groups to predict carcinogenicity outcomes using mechanistic information and repeated dose toxicity information.
