Joanne Elloway is a Senior Director at AstraZeneca and leads the Genetic Toxicology Group. Joanne holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University College London, UK, and has extensive cross-disciplinary research experience, with publications in various scientific fields, including biochemistry (mitochondrial metabolism), pharmacology, neuroscience, and pain pathways. She also has multiple publications on mechanisms and methods of assessing genotoxicity. Joanne contributes to several genotoxicity consortia and international working groups and is strongly interested in the development and application of innovative multidisciplinary approaches, techniques, and data analysis tools to enhance the human relevance of genotoxicity assessments.
