Description

Dr Fanny GRANAT, DVM, DipECVCP, PhD is Associate Professor in Animal and Comparative Clinical Pathology at the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT), in France. She combines teaching, research, and diagnostic activities in veterinary clinical pathology.
After graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from ENVT in 2009, she completed a small animal rotating internship, and then she undertook a residency in Veterinary Clinical Pathology at ENVT (supervisor : Pr Catherine TRUMEL). She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP) in 2014. In 2016, she completed a PhD on in vitro platelet aggregation and its prevention for diagnostic purposes in susceptible animal species.
From 2015 to 2019, she worked as a veterinary clinical pathologist in a private diagnostic laboratory while remaining involved in undergraduate and continuing veterinary education at ENVT. Since 2020, she has been Associate Professor in Animal and Comparative Clinical Pathology at ENVT.
Her main areas of expertise include veterinary clinical pathology, especially haematology. She is also involved in animal welfare and research ethics, and has received specific training in laboratory animal science and ethics committee activities.
