Esteemed ECVP, ESVP Members, Residents, Trainees and Colleagues,

Hold on to your microscope, because the Scientific Committee is about to bring some serious excitement to the Nantes meeting! Get ready for the third edition of the Vespertine Neuropathology WISDOM Session, running alongside the regular mystery slide session. And yes, there will be drinks to fuel your brainpower, because who says solving brain mysteries can't be delicious too?

Our mission: to banish the pathologist's dreaded "pink desert" from your diagnostic nightmares!
Picture this – three intriguing cases presented by some of our talented pathologists, followed by lively discussion from an international panel of brainy veterinary neuropathologists.

Now, this is where you come in. We are calling on you to share your most puzzling or mind-boggling neuropathology cases. Submit your brain teasers in a single PDF file with your name, affiliation, contact email, a brief case history, and a summary of key gross and microscopic findings. And don't forget to throw in some good quality images! Please send your cases from any species to sc@esvp-ecvp-congress.eu by May 31, 2026. We kindly ask you to be prepared to scan your slides - or send them for scanning - by July 31 (details to follow). While we screen everything you send, we are eager to see examples of degenerative, vascular, toxic or inflammatory diseases. We can't wait to unravel the “pink desert” puzzles you’ll be sending our way on stage!
