Description

Elie DAGHER, DVM, Dip. ECVP, PhD is a Veterinary Pathologist at NAMSA France, a leading CRO specialized in medical device evaluation. After earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Elie completed a residency in Veterinary Pathology at Oniris (Nantes, France), obtained board certification from the European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP), and completed a PhD in Comparative Oncology.

 

Since joining NAMSA in 2019, Elie has specialized in the pathological evaluation of medical devices, supporting preclinical studies from study design through histopathological assessment and reporting. His expertise spans conventional paraffin histopathology and advanced methodologies for the evaluation of medical devices, including resin histology and the assessment of implant–tissue interfaces, as well as digital pathology and quantitative tissue analysis. Elie works across a broad range of therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, ophthalmic, neurological, digestive, urological devices, etc.

 

Elie is a member of the STP and ESTP, serves on the board of the French Society of Toxicologic Pathology (SFPT), contributes to postgraduate teaching in medical device preclinical evaluation, and is part of the INHAND working groups focused on the standardization of medical device pathology nomenclature.
