I am an associate professor in animal behaviour at Sorbonne Paris Nord University. My research is motivated by a fascination with how animals cope with environmental challenges and changes. A core goal of my work is to elucidate the function, development, and evolution of the mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity in animals exposed to stressors – a period of time particularly crucial for fitness. My research bridges molecular biology, neuroendocrinology and behavior to address these fundamental questions.
