Member of the Society of Toxicologic pathology, the British Society of Toxicologic Pathology and the European Society of Toxicologic Pathology.

• Received a BS in Microbiology and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. 
• Became an officer in the US Army Veterinary Corps and served in military medical research areas of tropical diseases, combat trauma, and bone and joint injury and was the director of the Registry of Toxicologic Pathology for Animals at the AFIP and edited the SSNDC toxicologic pathology nomenclature monographs.
• Upon retirement from the military, was appointed the Deputy Director of the European Centre for Toxicologic Pathology at the Royal Veterinary College (Universities of London). Returned to the US and as a pathologist at MedImmune Inc. (now Astra Zeneca) in Maryland. Currently she is a Pharmacology/Toxicology reviewer in the Division of Neurology Products in the Office of New Drugs in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research of the FDA.
• She has participated in ESTP Workshops in 2021 and 2023, in various working groups of the ESTP and STP, and has acted as an informal liaison to the international toxicologic pathology community.
