Mystery Cases
Call for Mystery Case Presentations
ESVCP / ECVCP — Friday, 18 September 2026
We invite colleagues to submit cases for the Mystery Case session at the ESVCP/ECVCP 2026 joint Congress. Cases do not need to be unprecedented but should offer a clear and valuable lesson to share with attendees and readers of the accepted case PDFs published on the ESVCP website. It's always fun — please send in an interesting case!
Submission Deadline: 15 June 2026
How to submit
Send two Word files by email to Nicolas Soetart: nicolas.soetart@oniris-nantes.fr
- File 1 - Mysery Case
Present the case with enough information for the reader to reach or suspect the diagnosis. Include 2–3 guiding questions. - File 2 - Answer & Discussion
Provide answers to the submitted questions, along with the final diagnosis, clinical discussion, and references.
Practical Notes
- Examples of previous cases (mystery and solved) are available on the ESVCP/ECVCP website.
- Please reduce photos to 500–700 pixels wide to limit file size for initial submission.
- For selected haematology or cytology cases, physical slides may be requested prior to the session for digital scanning — this will be communicated at the time of acceptance.
- The Scientific and/or Organizing Committee will confirm selected cases.
